Bad Diets
Information about many common bad diets
The average bad diet, or unhealthy diet is mainly contributed to processed foods and infrequent meals. The American obesity epidemic is directly related for the most part to bad eating habbits. Any diet which neglects the basic principles and preferences of human genetics is bad. Unfortunately however, many people don't know what a bad diet is, and more importantly they don't know what a good diet is.
Your Bodys Preferences
- Smaller portioned Frequent meals - It is within the human "genetic code" that we eat smaller portioned frequent meals. This is because when you constantly serve your body food and never allow hunger to go unnoticed, you are telling your body that there is not a shortage of food and it responds by NOT storing any fat in the event that there become a lack of food. This is why the average 3 large meals per day is a big reason why many Americans are overweight. You should aim to consume at least 5 smaller portioned meals per day.
- Natural Unprocessed Foods - Many of the foods in your local grocery store are processed. Meaning they aren't natural and they have many additives which aren't exactly healthy. The primary culprit of processed foods are the surpless of bad carbohydrates and high saturated fat. Eating fruits and vegetables is a must for anyone wishing to live a healthy lifestyle.
These are the two preferences that our bodies have and neglecting them will result in a
bad diet which is the equivalent to bad health. All of the candies, junk food, soda pop, etc... etc... are unhealthy foods which you should really make an effor to eliminate as a frequent snack or meal in your diet.
