Custom Fitness Plan
You are individual, and you are unique. If you combine all of the different variables in your lifestyle, the unique qualities of your body and how it responds to stimulus, there is not another person in the world who is like you. So if we try and take two random people, and stick them on the same diet plan (as many of the big health companies do), those people will arrive at different results. The results may not be significant, but they also might be. This is why the business of fad dieting has proven time and time again that you can't forcefeed everyone the same plan and hope it will work. You need to understand what your body needs, and what it requires in order for it to reach your desired goal; whether that be fat loss or weight gain (muscle).
On the other hand, although we are all different, there are certain things we can all do which will maximize our efforts of losing fat or building muscle mass.
- Eat less processed foods.
Junk food, this is a given. Eating this stuff on a routine basis is really bad for you, and your weight. - Eat more natural foods.
That's right, fruits and vegetables. You have probably heard it a thousand times, but I can't stress it enough. - Eat more frequently, at least 5 meals a day
Forget about the standard three large meals, eat 5 smaller meals throughout the day as this will help raise your metabolism and burn more calories. - Exercise regularly
Everyone needs to exercise regardless if they're a model, a senior citizen, etc... The body needs exercise, and responds greatly to it by making you feel better physically and emotionally.
Those few guidelines are the core of any good custom fitness plan. The "custom" comes into play when you're referring to the type of exercises, and the types of foods you will eat.
