How Many Calories In Macronutrients

There are four types of calories. Protein, carbohydrates, fat and alcohol.

It's important to know how many calories are in different foods.  Every food item you consume is made up one a combination of either protein, carbohydrates, fats and/or alcohol.  Calories come in one of these 4 forms.  Below is a list of these 4 macronutrients and how many calories are in each per gram.
